Inspired by the words of his high school art teacher, Virgil Penner refuses to use straight lines and dull colors in his painting. Instead, he creates by bending the lines of his works and utilizes bold colors the way they comes. Most impressive, in just 14 years Virgil has created more than 650 paintings—after not painting at all for 45 years.
