Lincoln Arts Festival brings together artists, arts organizations, and art enthusiasts in an inclusive, accessible venue to create its annual premiere event. Diverse works of art, innovative demonstrations, hands-on arts activities and an eclectic mix of live performances provide a refreshing sense of community in this exciting downtown location.
FINE ARTS AVENUE
Made up of nearly 100 selling artists from across the nation, the Lincoln Arts Festival art market draws a unique blend of creatives and arts appreciators. Fine Arts Avenue, located along Canopy Street, features a wide range of handcrafted art forms including ceramics, drawing, jewelry, mixed media, painting, and more.
EMERGING ARTISTS
The Emerging Artist Program was created to launch artists into the exciting world of fine arts festival selling. Emerging Artists receive guidance from experienced art vendors, tools and materials to exhibit throughout the year, and get hands-on experience selling their work at Lincoln Arts Councils premiere event, Lincoln Arts Festival.
THE CREATIVE ZONE
The arts come to life in the festival's creative zones, with hands-on arts activities and educational demonstrations from local artists and arts educators. The interactive zones are meant to inspire creativity using new techniques, methods and mediums to further enthusiasm for the arts.
CULINARY COURT
Explore a vibrant array of food trucks serving up dishes that celebrate the diverse culinary scene of the city. Raise a glass, mingle with festival-goers, and enjoy the lively atmosphere of food, craft beer, ciders and music in Lincoln Arts, Culinary Court.
WORLD STAGE
An eclectic mix of performances find the spotlight on Lincoln Arts Festival’s “World Stage”. From music, to dance, to theatre, the stage helps create a fun festival atmosphere while exploring cultural expression. In partnership with Lincoln Calling, LAF’s World Stage expands beyond its arts focus and into performance milieu.
