The Arts are Important to Lincoln

“I love the arts in Lincoln for so many reasons, not the least of which is for the hope and inspiration which the arts continued to provide during the Pandemic. The Lincoln arts scene continue to lift up our community through programming and opportunities, and we can continue to share our love for the arts while still remaining safe. We know the arts provide a positive social impact, improve our health and help strengthen Lincoln to continue to be a vibrant and strong community for all.”

Tammy Ward, Lincoln City Council

“The 20th annual Lincoln Arts Festival is shaping up to be the best ever, with a new location along Canopy Street, more interactive activities for all ages, exciting performances, and work from talented local, regional and national artists. This safe, outdoor family event promises to be a wonderful celebration of the arts and our community. Thank you to the Lincoln Arts Council and all those who bring this special festival to life.”

Leirion Gaylor Baird, Mayor of Lincoln

Keeping You Safe During COVID-19

We value the safety of all artists, performers, and patrons who participate in the Lincoln Arts Festival.

While we are optimistic about the pace of COVID-19 vaccinations in Lancaster County, we understand that caution is still required. At this time, we are considering multiple scenarios to maximize safety in partnership with the Lancaster County Health Department – they will evolve as local, state and CDC guidance continues to evolve.

  •  Social distancing is required between artists and patrons, and patron groups.
  • Please stay home if you have been diagnosed with COVID-19, awaiting test results for COVID-19, or show any symptoms of the virus.
  • Please utilize hand-washing and sanitizing stations on a regular basis and avoid casual touching.
