Tyrone’s watercolor portraits begin as drawings that come to life after sharing hours of interaction with another person. When creating portraits from those drawings, the artist lingers in his memory of his interactions with the subject for inspiration. His non-observational work builds upon this to explore how memory and imagination come together as a form of reflection that brings humans closer to one another and to the surrounding environment.
