A self-taught artist from rural Kansas, Sandy Hunter began her artist’s journey after attending a small art festival. Having fallen in love with the medium and given the free time to create while her children were in school, the art appreciator started to create. Inspired by the countryside around her, Sandy paints a composition of realism and abstraction—the end product changing as her vision does.
