After being gifted her first ever camera by her grandma, Jean Hustchison’s lifelong love affair was destined. An adventurer to the core, Jean began exploring the world around her and documenting what she saw and experienced with that camera. Half a century later and the artist still explores and still documents—but with an improved craft. Through her photography, Jean attempts to invite the viewer into her journey and to experience the beauty of nature as she saw it. HDR photography, in particular, is Jean’s preferred photography method, for it allows her to bring out the details in an image and still merge it with her signature textured finish, making for truly unique and captivating photos.
