Adria Chilcote is a ceramic artist and designer originally from Lincoln who makes engaging and playful pottery for food and flowers. The experimental forms, use of color, and often graphic surface designs imbue a sense of positivity into the pots intended for everyday use in people’s homes, to enliven their routines with a piece of functional art. Adria is especially inspired by the use of pattern and color in textile design and fashion. The ceramicist is amazed how much power a vessel has to evoke emotion.
