Knitting, crocheting, sewing, and painting since she was a child, Rebecca Lovelace has always been fascinated by the creative process. Using acrylic paint mixed with water and Floetrol, Rebecca is now focusing on “paint pouring”. Thinning the paint just enough so it can easily flow across the canvas, each color pigment has different densities. These differences cause the paints to interact, some rising higher than others creating cells. Rebecca then pours the paint mixture into puddles on the canvas and blows on it, spreading it out to create her own very unique designs.
